And then to make the assinine statement that the two RP township residents who lost their lives that day don't deserve the memorial - because after all, there were only 2 of them. DISGUSTING! "Witnessed this in 2003 when the Union County Freeholders made a county wide claim to erect a memorial with several beams of the north tower..It was completed in September 9 2004 just a few days before the three year anniversay of the WTC tragedy. Now Roselle Park 9 years late and a dollar short makes a claim for a new erected memorial that would cost Up$$$ dollars? and only $27000 dollars donated. The CCORP once again involved for just 2 victims in RP that died. In Middletown NJ 37 victims have a memorial built for them In Mendham Morristown NJ 13 victims along with two relatives of mine Edward T Keane. I have attended Middletown and Mendham memorials.. I think planning and building a memorial for 2 people is stupid because the tax payers are once again duped into paying for something that they shouldn't have to pay for... This is political posturing and CCORP is behind it again...
