They blew a very good oppurtunity to gain a seat on the Council in 2009.. The Republicans were out in force , at least in the 5th ward, and the only time I saw Dave Jacobs was with Karl H. and that was only once ... The Republicans blew Avalon Bay and shared services and the Dems just voted along with them ... The republicans voted to spend a 1/4 million dollars in unnessary repairs and turned a power crazy Clerk on the departments of the town and the Dems voted right along with them .. I disagree with you on the gaining of a seat on the Council .. the Mayor and Republican Council rule because it is 4 to 3 agaist the Dems ...
